Baking up Comfort and Joy

As our marketing & admissions team gathered around the kitchen counter to whip up some holiday treats this year I took a moment for myself and thought about the powerful role these women play in the lives of the families that we touch with our home care services.

The words comfort and joy popped into my head. That was it! That sums up our entire job description.  I smiled inside as I looked over to each member of my team busily kneading dough. The comfort that washes over a stressed-out daughter when she calls our office and learns that she can get help in juggling her time between her career, family and caring for her elderly mother. And I thought about the faces of our clients that light up with joy when their favorite nurse or caregiver walks through the door to spend the day with them.

As with any good Christmas cookie recipe, it’s all about the quality of ingredients that determines the outcome. The marketing and admissions department is responsible for the “first touch” a prospective client has with Bayshore and it is our commitment to quality that produces amazing results for our clients and their families.  So from our family to yours, we bring tidings of comfort and joy this holiday season and throughout the year!
